Job Description

The Part-time Customer Service Representative provides exceptional customer service to all shoppers, tenants, vendors and visitors to our outlet shopping destinations. Handle customer inquiries. Successfully meet marketing and operational goals to ensure a positive experience that differentiates Tanger as a First Choice company.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Assist customers with questions and finding resolution to problems by providing services that fall within scope of responsibilities.
•Answer incoming phone calls and greet customers in a professional manner, with a smile, and willingness to assist.
•Carefully listen to customer questions, repeating if necessary to ensure clarity.
•Provide answers in a courteous manner using the Shopper Services Notebook, which provides answers to the most frequently asked questions, for guidance.
•Sell gift cards with a focus on meeting sales goals for the center.
•Sell Tanger Club memberships with a focus on meeting the 25% minimum sales goal.
•Maintain a success rate of no less than 75% for collection of new customer email addresses
•Provide stroller and wheelchair rental services.
•All customer service representatives are accountable and responsible for maintaining assigned cash drawer. The CSR must:
-Accurately balance cash register at end of shift.
-Follow all prescribed procedures for reporting any cash discrepancies.
-Print all supporting documentation and reports.
-Inform all customers of special promotions, upcoming events, etc.
-Distribute coupon books and promotional materials.

Perform general office duties.
•Maintain supplies for fax and copier machines.
•Perform database entry
•Assist center management by completing minor reports such as: Promotional inventory report, promotional items, lost and found log, coupon books, brochures, roof leak log, HVAC PM service tenant documentation, etc.
•Clearly communicate to supervisor the status of projects at end of shift.
•Follow general office and PCI procedures for cash handling reporting at end of shift.
•Complete other special projects as assigned.
•Report all accidents/incidents according to policy in the absence of the GM/AGM 

Must be dependable and willing to work flexible hours, including some nights (until 9:00pm), weekends, and holidays.
