Facilities Assistant

The Facilities Assistant provides assistance in management of facility services in coordination with the Office Managers. This is a part time position.

• Transport inter-office mail, equipment, and packages between local office locations.
• Assist in the set up and maintenance of all corporate equipment (excluding computer-related), furniture, and all furnishings.
• Assist Network Technicians with the installation and moving of equipment and wiring.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required. A Motor Vehicle background check is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion with or without accommodations.

Required Skills
• General computer knowledge.
• General telecommunication equipment and wiring knowledge a plus.
• General equipment and network wiring knowledge a plus.

• Dedicated, responsible, positive, and reliable.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Detailed oriented with an appropriate sense of urgency.
• Excellent trouble shooting and creative problem solving skills.

Preferred Education/Work Experience
• High school diploma/GED required.

• Previous customer service, mail room, general repairs or maintenance work, and/or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
