Account Executive - Direct Sales

REPORTING TO

Sales Manager

Sales, Admin, Marketing, Scheduling, Customers

 

PURPOSE STATEMENT

As a business development area this AE will be responsible for building new business and all round awareness for the Ster Kinekor onscreen media platform to a local SME customer base.

This AE will cold call, present and close new business deals delivering value for both the company and the advertiser.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

Minimum: Matric

Preferred:   Tertiary qualification / Diploma in Sales, Marketing or customer relations                     

Systems

MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TGI,

 

Working Experience  

Preferably 3 years’ experience within the media industry heading up a high performance sales team.

Generate and formulate strategic initiatives to grow the customer base and to increase turnover per customer

Research and gather information about new prospects and determine who the key decision-makers are and what the prospects needs are/will be

Ensure yield on revenue sold is at a profitable level at all times
