The Deep Frozen Supply Chain function serves the Nestlé sales team, so that they are able to provide world class service to grocery accounts across the country. Products include industry leading brands such as DIGIORNO pizza, DRUMSTICK ice cream snacks, and H?AGEN-DAZS premium ice cream.

The Driver Partner is the link between frozen warehouse shipments and the Direct to Store Delivery route truck Drivers. The Driver Partner works a flexible schedule (Often between 2nd and 3rd shift hours), which is required in order to assist the Driver with the daily inbound shipments. Once a shipment is received, the Driver Partner checks order manifests and distributes the correct orders onto the associated Drivers' route trucks in time for the Drivers to depart for delivery. In this position, one must be able to work alone at times, prioritize orders, have high integrity and be safety focused while ensuring product integrity and quality standards are maintained.

•Safely operate powered industrial equipment such as but not limited to a forklift, walk-behind electric power jack, and walk-behind stacker while loading. Complete and maintain daily inspections on all equipment.
•Plan work schedule around the arrival of daily inbound shipments.
•Maintain communication with the direct Manager and Drivers on all supply needs, issues, and questions. Report any and all facility, truck, product, or equipment damage to the direct Manager immediately.
•Adapt quickly to daily changes such as late shipments and special loading requests.
•Adhere to monthly documentation submission requirements and attend Bi-Weekly safety conference calls.
•Operate Automatic and Standard transmission commercial straight trucks and tractor trailers (Semis).
•Conduct activities in a safe manner, follow corporate safety guidelines and requirements, use personal protective equipment and proactively address any unsafe conditions observed. Maintain housekeeping and safety compliance (Inspection ready at all times). Adhere to all work related procedures, policies, and best practices.

•Maintain a safe operating record for powered industrial equipment.

•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•High School Diploma / GED equivalent.
•Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
•Must have a valid driver's license
•Must have a valid, unrestricted Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a Class A Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) with ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 60 days of hire, with a driving record satisfactory to established company requirements
•Successful completion of post offer background checks, drug screen and motor vehicle report
•Must be willing to work a flexible schedule which may include unstable and unpredictable hours; Willing to work any day of the week, weekends and Holidays.
•Must possess basic math and documentation, and computer skills.
•Ability to work safely in a dynamically changing environment
•Ability to read, write, understand and speak English
•Electric pallet jack experience preferred
•Ability to operate and back in commercial straight trucks and tractor trailers (Semis) is preferred.

•Hands/Arms: Constantly, using both hands/arms throughout the work shift while loading/unloading product from shuttle trailers to route trucks, using powered industrial equipment or manual pump jacks. Flexion and extension of the wrists while performing occasional visual inspections and repalletizing.
•Head/Neck: Frequently, moving head and neck while moving product onto route trucks.
•Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, lifting/carrying 10-40 pounds to reposition product on pallet or move/stack empty pallets.
•Pushing/Pulling: Occasionally, using both hands/arms while moving product via manual pallets jacks/carts exerting a force between 15-50 pounds.
•Bending/Twisting: Occasionally, bending at waist 30-45 degrees while shrink wrapping or loading/unloading pallets on off truck. Bending and twisting of the upper torso and squatting when visually inspecting the pallet jacks/carts and placing pallet jack on the floor.
•Kneeling/Crouching: Occasionally, while addressing boxes of supplies at floor level, shrink wrapping and while performing clean up tasks.
•Standing/Walking: Frequently, while performing most duties in the loading dock, walking up to eight hours per shift on concrete surface.
•Balance: Wet and icy conditions in loading dock, parking lot, route trucks, and trailers.
•Sight/Hearing/Speech: Constantly, required to ensure safe operation in the loading dock and perform essential functions.

•Hazards: Slippery surfaces; uneven work surfaces, wet and icy, exposure to cold, cuts and pinch points, and moving equipment.
•Equipment Used: Commercial vehicles, hand trucks, carts and dollies. Pallet jacks (manual and powered), forklifts, dock plates, bulkheads, straps, lift gates, and other pallet handling equipment are to be used only if properly trained and with manager authorization.
•Safety Equipment: Puncture and cut resistant gloves, high visibility vest, and high ankle support, steel toed or composite safety boots are required during all loading activities. Face shield, acid apron, and acid gloves are required if refilling a battery. If a knife is needed, it is required to be a self-retracting safety cutter.
