|This position is responsible for assisting in keeping scores in various sports and helping with the operation and maintenance of the concession stand. Successful performance in this position contributes to an efficient and safe environment for the public.|
|ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:|
|The following duties are normal for this classification. Specific duties listed may not be required for all positions in this classification, but are determined by the normal requirements for the particular position.|
SCOREBOARD DUTIES (45%)
Operate electronic score system.
Keeps scorebooks for each game.
CONCESSIONS DUTIES (45%)
Sells concessions including soft drinks and food items to spectators at various events.
Receives money and makes correct change for customers.
Monitors money in the cash drawer to ensure adequate change is available.
OTHER RELATED DUTIES (10%)
Cleans concession stand area.
Counts revenues as assigned by supervisor.
Checking facilities and restrooms for cleanliness; restocking supplies as needed.
Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
|Must be at least 16 years of age.|
Basic knowledge and understanding of scoring used in sports preferred.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license.
