SUPERVISOR:               Warehouse Manager                                                 JOB CLASSIFICATION:               Non-Exempt

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provides support to the warehouse operations by performing many general functions in order to support the efficient operations of the warehouse.

 

DESCRIPTION OF PRIMARY ESSENTIAL TASKS:

  • Provide general services to the Operations Management.
  • Assist in the handling of product returned to the warehouse.
  • Assist in the handling and rework of damaged product.
  • Assist in general housekeeping functions within the warehouse, offices and grounds.
  • Assist in the generation of documents used in the loading process as requested.
  • Assist in the movement of vehicles in to and out of the warehouse.
  • Assist warehouse loaders as requested.
  • Must follow all safety guidelines as required by management

 

DESCRPITION OF SECONDARY ESSENTAIL TASKS:

  • Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor.

 

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
None, May be updated depending on divisional needs.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

Requires basic knowledge of equipment /tools needed to fulfill the needs of the essential tasks.

 

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS:

Requires High School Education or Equivalent.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold, working in rain or snow, all for extended periods.

 

WORK DEVICES AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

None (to be determined by Division)

 

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

Climbing, balancing, stooping and kneeling.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing and seeing.
