The Account Manager is responsible for developing strong client and talent relationships, creating expansion within the client account, providing employee relations support and support for both internal Aquent and external client processes. The account manager oversees the on boarding, maintenance and continued success of our relationship with the client and contingent staff. The account manager acts as the primary point of contact for all employee relations questions and issues.
This person will split time between the client’s Mountain View office and the Aquent office in Sunnyvale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with client and talent to determine and manage client service expectations and to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Potentially manages the existing VMS/MSP relationship to ensure growth, expansion and delivery on KPIs by leveraging recruiting, sales and project management staff.
Partner with client managers to understand client business needs and translating them into the implementation of effective solutions and partnering with internal employees to ensure we are maximizing our growth potential.
Work with other account team members to continually improve the quality, efficiency, and capacity of the business.
Identify emerging issues and problems.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and talent.
Manage and support a fast growing talent population.
Meet Talent and conduct quality checks with clients and talent
Ensure Talent understand and follow client and Aquent processes and policies
Manage employee relations and HR issues
Provide coaching in the areas of employee development, performance management, training, and employee relations
May conduct performance reviews
Track and manage contingent staff assignment extensions and end dates.
Develop and expand talent relationship as a resource for candidate referrals.
Develop and implement employee retention strategies and programs
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
3+ years of human resources, recruiting, employee relations, account or project management
Experience in navigating immigration as it pertains to employment law
Proven excellent customer service and networking skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients.
Strong negotiation/closing skills and creative follow-through skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Ability to work successfully with teams and to creatively and respectfully collaborate with peers.
The ability and confidence to flourish in a challenging and rapidly changing environment.
Excellent conflict and problem resolution skills with an ability to focus quickly on key issues.
