Centerra is seeking qualified applicants to fill part time/ full time Armed Security Officer positions at the Center for Domestic Preparedness located in Anniston, AL. Centerra provides a competitive salary and benefits.
Provides administrative support to the CENTERRA/CDP based upon knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements to facilitate the issuance, receipt/return, auditing, reporting, and authorizing the access privileges to all visitors. Must be able to work shift hours. Will be assigned to Incumbent is relied on for technical guidance and advice on administrative matters relevant to normal security operations. Primary Badging Officer who will be assigned to the CDP to manage the CENTERRA/CDP Avery Photo ID System (APIS) and FEMA Personal Identify Verification Badge (PIV) for badging and Visitor Access to CDP Facilities. Badging Officer Responsibilities will include: Procurement and initial receipt of all APIS and PIV badges; records and inventories each PIV badges; issues badges, investigation lost PIV badges and recovery of Badges from departing personnel or others as appropriate; maintains up to date APIS/PIV rosters; Performs periodic PIV badge audits.
Multi-tasked, works under the supervision of Shift Supervisor, who gives oral and/or written instructions concerning all matters of any APIS/PIV status. Work is assigned in terms of specific assignments. Provides administrative support to the CENTERRA/CDP based upon knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements. Day to day work is performed with minimal guidance but the supervisor is kept well advised of all matters or problems. Work is reviewed for accuracy, adequacy, completeness and proper application of current regulations, policies and directives.
Primary APIS/PIV Badge Program Officer who will be assigned to the CDP to manage the CDP APIS/PIV badging and visitor access to CDP Facilities. Badging Officer responsibilities will include: Procurement and initial receipt of all PIV badges and records each PIV badges assignment; inventories each PIV badges; issues badges, investigation lost PIV badges and recovery of Badges from departing personnel or others as appropriate; maintains up to date APIS/PIV rosters; Performs periodic PIV badge audits.
Will be responsible for full range of administrative functions including but not limited to the following: maintaining Daily Visitation Roster; answering telephones; responsible for verifying authorization of visitors, venders and contract personnel before issuing any form of Badges; preparing variety of correspondence, forms, reports with correct spelling, grammar, arrangement and appearance in a wide variety of standard or special formats and maintenance of related files and records.
Employee must possess a high school education or higher degree. Must have a minimum of 4 years security or civilian/military law enforcement experience to facilitate the issuance, receipt/return, auditing, reporting, and authorizing the access privileges to all visitors.
