POSITION: Staff Engineer

DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Masters degree desired.

MONTHS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Entry Level to 5 years

SKILL REQUIREMENTS: US Citizen. Security Clearance Required. Successful applicant will have excellent written and oral communication skills and possess strong analytical capabilities and troubleshooting/debugging skills. Candidate must have strong background in C and C++ languages and/or Matlab. Successful applicant will be required to develop algorithms for data reduction, analysis, and reporting. Applicant must be able to work independently and on teams. Experience with electro-optical system testing, acoustic system testing, aviation system testing desired. A working knowledge of EO/IR systems testing and evaluation would aid the candidate in this position Electronics troubleshooting/design and SQL experience would also be beneficial. Some travel and work outdoors during testing will be required. This position will require reviewing vendor and customer system specifications and capabilities to facilitate the design and execution of system tests to determine system performance and suitability for intended applications. The successful candidate will also perform application development to support data reduction and analysis. Candidate will provide both oral and written test reports to engineering staff and customers.
