Job Description:

* Primarily responsible for the maintenance relief coverage of mechanics at assigned bases. The coverage area includes: Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi; Residency in either TN or AL required.

* Perform maintenance on company aircraft (helicopter) as required.

* Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer s recommendations, and Air Methods standards.

* Provide maintenance support at any of our field base locations for relief, training, vacation, sick leave, roving aircraft and heavy maintenance.

Requirements:

* Two years of turbine powered helicopter maintenance experience.

* A&P license.

* Prefer 5 years of field maintenance experience.

* Tools appropriate for the job, to include multi-meters and a torque wrench up to 200-ft. lbs.

* Troubleshooting experience.

* Exceptional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.

* Must be computer literate.

* Ability to work overtime, days, nights, weekends and be on-call.

* Extensive travel to job sights.

* Residence within 30 minutes of assigned bases.

* Valid, unrestricted driver license.

* Good credit.
