3M's Traffic Safety Systems Division is currently seeking a Plant Engineering Manager who will be responsible to provide strong leadership for the Guin Plant Engineering organization. This leadership must promote an environment of continuous improvement in all operations. Flexibility to provide support for 24/7 plant operations as needed is required for this position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure operational Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance and accountability

*
Manage all maintenance, utilities, and buildings and grounds operations at the Guin site

*
Utilization of Lean Six Sigma to drive sustainable improvements in equipment runtime, energy reduction, waste reduction, quality improvement, and cost controls

*
Be an inspiring leader who earns the respect of all employees in the Plant Engineering organization

*
Live 3M values through all interactions with the plant population and the community

Qualifications

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:

* Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required
* Minimum three (3) years Manufacturing experience is required
* Minimum one (1) year Maintenance experience is required
* Minimum three (3) years Supervisory experience in Manufacturing is required

Preferred Qualifications:

*
Experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety operations is preferred

*
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt experience is preferred

*
Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels in the organization is desired

*
Record of integrity and delivering strong business results is desired
