Brief Description

*
Under the direction of a SUAV Training Specialist or Logistics Manager, will provide training for users in maintenance of small UAV s in the field, for small groups of trainees.

*
Will perform maintenance and support tasks for the Training team, including light composite and electronics troubleshooting and repair.

*
Will be based out of the Huntsville, Alabama office or at military customer facilities stateside and overseas.

*
Will deploy to US and foreign military bases overseas to conduct maintenance training, maintenance and support tasks for customers and training team.

*
Will demonstrate both electronic and mechanical systems components that are utilized in SUAV s. This will include the capability to show trainees how to troubleshoot equipment performance issues in the field.

*
Will support test plans and prepare detailed post flight reports for customer and company.

*
Will frequently consult with SUAV Training Specialist or Logistics Manager for clarification on specific training and maintenance needs.

Job Requirements

*
Desire an Associate Science Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Design/Fabrication from either a Community College or DeVry type school or equivalent military training.

*
In establishing credentials the preferred candidate will have a detailed understanding of military mindsets/needs.

*
Prior military E5-6 would be preferred.

*
3-5 years experience in an aircraft manufacturing or Aerospace firm and may include Lead experience or equivalent military experience.

*
Should be familiar with overall aircraft electronic systems, fabrication techniques, composite repair and flight-testing.

*
Be accustomed to isolation, deployment and working long irregular hours in difficult situations and watches.

*
Prefer experience with prototype design and development of electronic systems- including avionics and/or control systems.

*
Must have hands-on experience with diagnostics and repair.

*
Experience with UAV s a major plus.

*
Prior formal education in training is a significant plus.

*
Must be capable of obtaining a DOD Secret clearance.

*
Must have the capability to obtain a US passport.

*
Must have a clean driving record.

*
Be a team player.

*
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, blueprint or sketches would be very helpful.

*
Will have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

*
Will have excellent analytical skills.

*
Will have excellent organizational skills.

*
Will have excellent problem solving skills.

*
Should be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and objects of varying sizes for shipment to & set up in various training sites and to customers.

*
Because of various out-of-area training/maintenance requirements, candidate must be available to work authorized overtime and may be required to work on both short and long term deployments away from home, both CONUS and OCONUS.

This position requires you have access to data and technology that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
