Job Description

Designs and/or prepares proposals for various systems (structured cabling, security, wireless, VOIP, public address, and CATV). Account Executives, Operations personnel, and end users rely on department s technical expertise to design adequate systems as well as general knowledge and industry standards to assure compliance. Candidate performs site surveys. Responsible for materials management by creating technical installation packages and submits required material lists to Purchasing for procurement of associated components.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Candidate is responsible for acquiring all pertinent information from Account Executive prior to proposal preparation. Reviews information, deciphers if information is adequate or correct. Generates thorough proposal to ensure accuracy and thoroughness of proposal submitted to end user.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

Putting quotes together.

AutoCAD work.

Computer tech support

Skills/Requirements

Bachelor's degree desired.

RCDD preferred.

Plus two years of related experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Visio.

Think critically and problem solve.

Handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion.

Good judgment.

Organizational skills.

Customer service skills.

Knowledge of computer hardware and networks.

Good vision and hearing.
