Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Huntsville - InTech, AL
Overview: Brief Overview: Provides direct admin support to the Director of Defense Programs & Field Engineer staff. Works in a diverse & complex environment that includes customer and executive contact. Administrative activities include tracking project budgets, composing letters & reports, preparing-editing presentations. Responsibilities include: Compile project status reports, coordinate project schedules & activities to ensure all project phases are documented Maintains the project file containing copies of all correspondence between Client and the customer including: procurement specification, statement of work, copies of data submittals and all paperwork pertinent to the specific project Respond to & compose routine correspondence Update & maintain technical databases and generate reports Coordinate & schedule appointments, meetings and travel for staff Track tasks & ensure timelines will be met Acts as liaison for the department, research/respond to customer inquires
Education/
Experience: Required: Associate's degree (A.A.) from a two- year college or university in business or computer science; or a minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required: Excellent grammatical and spelling skills, excellent phone etiquette, flexible, discreet, and professional, PC literate (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook Calendar). At least 4 years experience in word processing, spreadsheet development, document management issues, financial analysis, data collection, report processing, brief preparation, read milestone schedules and send and receive emails. Two years work experience shall be within DoD.
